These calculators are estimates using the SARS 2026/27 tables (transfer duty in force from 1 April 2026; CGT and estate duty for the 2027 year of assessment), the Law Society of South Africa recommended guideline of fees effective 1 July 2026, and the Deeds Office tariff in Government Gazette 54225 (1 April 2026). They are not tax advice, not a fee quotation, and not a mandate. Conveyancing fees are negotiable. VAT-registered developer sales usually attract VAT, not transfer duty. Confirm the current table on sars.gov.za and the Deeds Office tariff before you commit. Ask the firm for a file estimate.
